JAMMU, June 2: The district unit of All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association (JKPA) today strongly condemned the order of Deputy Commissioner Jammu in which one patwari was placed under suspension and other attached without giving them any chance of hearing.
The issue came up for discussion during a meeting of the association held here today under the chairmanship of district president, Kalim Ahmed.
During the meeting, members of the association in one voice expressed strong resentment against the order and termed all the allegations on both patwaries as baseless.
The meeting decided that all patwaries working in district Jammu shall deposit their record in the office of DC Jammu on June 3 till both the orders are revoked and rent of Patwar Khanas given to all patwaries of district Jammu.
