KHOON, Dec 2: DDC candidate of BJP from Khoon, Juhi Manhas has claimed that JKNPP is fielding candidates who are notorious for money, muscle and wine power.
She urged upon the State Election Commissioner to take cognizance of such acts and debar such candidates from contesting elections.
Addressing a series of public meetings, Manhas took a dig at JKNPP and called it as B-Team of ‘Gupkar gang’.
She said that BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi has virtually completed ‘Puran Vilay’ of J&K with India by scrapping Article-370 and 35-A.
“The only people who are uncomfortable with this move are either China or Pakistan or Gupkar gang or the JKNPP,” the BJP candidate maintained claiming that JKNPP has been selling canards and planted stories just with a view to distort public opinion for which they are going to be punished severely by the people in DDC elections.
Juhi said that once elected she will try to resolve ‘Bijli, Pani and Sadak’ related issues of the people of Khoon and will also ensure that revolutionary schemes by the government are brought on ground and to the people.
She also talked about the way PM Modi led government handled the COVID crisis by distributing free ration etc.
Juhi was accompanied by Kuldeep Singh, district general secretary BJP Udhampur; Gopal Singh, Mandal president; Shiv Ram, general secretary; Renu Sharma and Ved Sharma, campaign incharges; Romesh Gupta, Raman Khajuria, Soma Devi, Nisha Devi, Mohan Lal Sharma, Chain Singh, Manoj Verma and Surinder Singh—all Sarpanches.
