JKMEF stages protest demonstration

JAMMU, Dec 31: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) here today staged a protest demonstration against the Health Department.
The protest was led by JKMEF president, Sushil Sudan and the protesters claimed that the Health Department was non-serious towards genuine demands of employees as it allegedly avoided DPC of different categories deliberately.
The protesting employees said that many posts had fallen vacant and employees are deprived of their legitimate rights as the Departmental Promotion Committee (Promotion) should be conducted twice a year.
They claimed that on 06-08-2021, Additional Chief Secretary, Atul Dulloo and DHS had assured the Federation that DPC will be conducted within 15 days but that assurance is yet to become a reality.

Jarnail Singh, working president JKGPA; Neelam Kumari, president J&K Female Multipurpose Worker Association; Ch. Aslam, president J&K Lab Tech Employees Association; Harpal Singh, J&K X-Ray Tech Employees Association; Jaswinder Singh, president J&K OT Tech Employees Association; Mohd. Salim, president J&K Clerical Employees Association; Sanjay Khajuria, president J&K Dental Tech Employees Association and others were also present in the protest.
