JKMEF holds one day conference, highlights demands

JAMMU, Sept 26: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) under the chairmanship of its district Rajouri president Farooq Mirza, held second one day conference at Nowshera, district Rajouri.
On the occasion, Sushil Sudan, president, JKMEF, was the chief guest while Vinod Kumar Sharma and Jarnail Chowdhary were the observers.
The speakers demanded release of remaining Sixth Pay Commission arrears in one installment, up-gradation of posts of FMPHWs, creation of posts of LHVs in new PHCs and removal of pay anomalies of various categories including ministerial staff.
Meanwhile, Raj Kumar, was unanimously elected as president, block Nowshera, Mohinder Singh, president, Jammu Kashmir Pharmacist Association, block Nowshera, Nirmal Kumari, president, FMPHWs and Shadi Lal, president, Basic Health Employees Association, block Nowshera.
Among others present were Abdul Majid Lone, president, District Hospital Rajouri Employees, Adarsh Sharma, district president, Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacist Association, Rajouri, Hem Raj Sudan, vice president.
