JAMMU, June 9: A deputation of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (JKLTF) called on the Dy Chief Minister, Nirmal Singh at his official residence, today.
The deputation headed by Mohan Singh, president, Bhushan S Verma, chairman and Maheshwar Parshad, general secretary of the federation. The federation felt deep concern over the pre-mature transfer of Director School Education, Jammu which is continuously going on for last three years and is not good for smooth functioning of the School Education Department, if the Government is serious about the school education sector the Director School Education should be allowed to work on the post at least for three years without any interference.
The federation also draws the attention of Dy CM toward the transparent transfer policy, long pending salaries of teachers working under SSA, RMSA, NPS and demands.
Other present in the deputation were Dr Vijay Kumar, Ravinder Verma, Arum Sharma, Krishan Lal Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Siv Dev Singh and Kuldeep Singh.
