UDHAMPUR, July 13: An educational conference was organized by All J&K Lecturers’ Forum (JKLF) at Ramnagar town.
DEPO Udhampur, JM Tharmath, was the chief guest, Deputy CEO, Ram Kumar was the guest of honour while district president, Ashok Sharma, was special guest.
The conference was attended by many lecturers, masters and teachers. During the conference, a threadbare discussion was held over various issues of teaching community including proper transfer policy, salaries of plan posts, NR’s non-vocational status to principals, running pay grades to lecturers, release of senior lecturers’ list, etc.
Meanwhile, the Forum constituted its body for Tehsil Ramnagar which includes Shiv Dev Singh as president, Manohar Lal, Baldev Raj, Bal Krishan Chamk and Anita Kumari as vice-presidents, Som Raj Sharma as general secretary, Narayan Dutt, Jagdish Chander, Ramesh Singh, Jeevan Singh and Bandhana Gupta as joint secretaries. Rashpal Singh, Ritika Mahajan and Varinder laira were elected for district Forum Udhampur, Ratan Lal as publicity secretary and Sudesh Kumar Sharma as office secretary.
On the occasion, new magazine ‘Prayas’ was also released by the chief guest. Rishi Kumar as organizer, Gopal Dutt Sharma as chief organizer, Shamsher Singh, Sanjeev Karlopia as chief spokesman, Jitendra Singh, Azaz Ahmed, Darshan Kumar, Anju Sharma, Suresh Kumar and Adarsh Bharti as grievance redressal unit.
Moreover, meritorious students of class 10th and 12th were also awarded by Tehsil Unit Ramnagar.
