KUPWARA, June 8: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) in collaboration with NABARD organized an awareness programme on the recently launched Pradhan Mantri’s Social Security Schemes at village Panjgam.
LDM Kupwara, Imtiaz Ahmed, who was chief guest on the occasion spoke at length about the various schemes of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, VK Sharma, Senior Manager MF&FI Department, JKGB informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors. He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch.
District Manager, JKGB Kupwara, AK Malik, also spoke on the occasion.
