JAMMU, June 8: Wrestler Som Veer of Haryana crushed Wrestler Benia Min of J&K Police and lifted the title trophy of 4th Annual Panya Vishal Kesari Dangal Competition.
The competition was organized by Panj Peer Dangal Committee Panya in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Government High School, Panya Dager, tehsil Akhnoor.
On the occasion, MLA Khour Dr Krishan Lal Bhagat was the chief guest, who awarded the wrestlers in presence of President, J&K Indian Style wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, retd SP Prithvi Raj Sharma, Vice-President of the Association, Virender Badyal, Sushil Kumar Soodan, Headmaster of the institution Jagan Nath, etc.
OTHER RESULTS: Pravesh of Sonipat smashed Sunil of Haryana, Pinder of Ajnala defeated Tejbeer of Rohtak, Sandeep of Rohtak beat Akram of Bajrangi Akhara, Narinder of Ajnala crushed Mohammad Sadiq of Domana, Mandeep of Rohtak beat Billu of Kot Bhawal, Babba of Domana Akhara defeated Dinu of Kathua, Ajay Sharma of Udhampur smashed Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara, Prem Verma of Jhiri beat Dalbir Singh of Mahore, Balwan Singh of Mahore crushed Billa of Domana Akhara. The bouts played between Sonu of Rohtak and Bobari of Sarore, Kulbir Singh of Kot Bhawal and Akram of Chowadi ended in draw.
