JAMMU, Aug 24: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) organized an awareness programme at village Laswara, tehsil Bishnah under the Branch Office Deoli.
RK Chhibber, Chairman, JKGB, who was the chief guest on the occasion, spoke at length about the various schemes of the bank including education loan and housing loan. He also apprised the gathering that JKGB has lowest interest rates and people should take maximum benefit out of it.
Area Manager Jammu, KL Sharma, apprised the masses regarding the digitalization in banking in the present era, besides NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Rupay cards, etc.
Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, MF&FI Department, JKGB, informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of social security schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana. He also made people aware about Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
