JAMMU, Jan 16: Micro Finance & Financial Inclusion Department, J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) handed over PMSBY claim to the nominee of an insurer in village Chatha in city outskirts.
The claim in the form of lump sum amount of Rs 2 lakh was presented to the nominee of the insurer, Manpreet Kour by Sarpanchs of the area namely Jatinder Singh and Anoop Singh, in a programme, wherein KL Sharma, Regional Manager, JKGB, was the chief guest.
On the occasion, officers of JKGB made people aware regarding various schemes of the bank including car, housing loan and education loans. They were further informed that the bank is offering loans to the customers at the lowest interest rate in the State. People were also informed regarding the ongoing New Year Bonanza with a special offer of rebate in rate of interest of 0.5% for two wheeler loans for females and no processing charges on car, housing and two wheeler loans.
Speaking on the occasion, Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, MF&FI Department, spoke at length of the service of the bank. He informed about the benefits of social security schemes namely (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Surakhsha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana. The thrust was also given on various IT products like Rupay Cards, SMS Alerts, NEFT/RTGS and Immediate Payment Services (IMPS).
