JAMMU, Apr 5: Micro Finance & Financial Inclusion Department of J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) in collaboration with NABARD has successfully running Atal Pension Yojana (APY) campaign across the State and has enrolled more than 8000 people under the scheme.
JKGB has also given stress on other social security schemes including PMSBY and PMJJBY, which are intend to cover the unorganized sector including factory workers, hawkers, rural agricultural labour, etc.
The APY enrolments has been covering most of the districts of the State including Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar, Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara, Kargil, Srinagar, Rajouri and Poonch.
People are also informed by the Bank regarding the various schemes of the bank with special rate of interests including car loan @ 8.95%, housing loan @ 8.35% and transport loan @ 9%. The masses are also made aware about NEFT/RTGS, Online Banking, IMPS, SMS Banking, Rupay Card, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System and Direct Benefit Transfer.
