JAMMU, June 14: J&K Freedom Fighters’ Association (JKFFA) held an impressing function here at Bal Niketan Ved Mandir, Ambphalla to remember Brig Rajinder Singh on his Birth Anniversary.
The function was organized by Ved Gandotra, the president of the Association and Pummy Baba was the chief guest on the occasion.
The speakers threw light on the life history of the Brigadier, who with the help of a few soldiers, stopped the raiders from Pakistan to enter in the territory of J&K State and saved life of many citizens of the State, especially the public of the Kashmir Valley.
The speakers asked the separatists and the people of the Kashmir Valley to stop speaking against the security forces and work with the army to liquidate all the terrorist forces in the valley to pave way for bringing peace in the valley.
The people of Kashmir should understand that the Indian Army and the Indian security forces were the guarantee for their peaceful and honorable living in the Kashmir, otherwise, Pakistan with the help of lSI and its terrorist group would have made hell of the heaven (Kashmir).
The members also remembered Netaji Subash Chander Bose, Chander Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Abdul Hamid and all those who scarified their lives for the freedom of the motherland.
They asked the youth to follow the path shown by the martyrs and sacrifice themselves to make India “A true democratic India”, where everyone should lead a happy and prosperous life.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Rajiv Mahajan, State president, Shri Ram Sena, Rajesh Kesari, president, Shiv Sena Hindustan, RR Raina, president, Sangram Sena, Rajinder Singh, president, Sikh Progressive Front and Gajan Singh, president, State Akali Dal.
