JKESL takes out rally, hoists ‘Tiranga’ at residences of retd security forces personnel

JAMMU, Aug 12: Jammu and Kashmir Ex-Services League (JKESL) took out a rally and hoisted ‘Tiranga’ at the residences of retired security forces personnel.
To kick start the festivities, a rally with Ex-Servicemen, Veer Naris, JKESL members and students of Fauji Public School was taken out today from Digiana to Gandhi Nagar.
The rally reached the residence of Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, AVSM (Retd), Ex MLC and Ex-President who has been the pillar of strength of JKESL for 37 years.
Lt Gen RK Sharma, AVSM, SM (Retd), President of JKESL with the rally participants hoisted ‘Tiranga’ at his residence.
The rally proceeded to Channi Himmat where ‘Tiranga’ was hoisted at the residence of Lt Gen Rakesh Sharma, AVSM, SM (Retd), a double decorated soldier by the JKESL members.
Later, the rally further proceeded to the residence of Maj Gen (MNS) Sunita Kapoor, VSM (Retd) and ‘Tiranga’ was hoisted by the participants of the rally.
The rally is being organized under Col Kulbir Singh Jamwal, VSM, Joint Chairman and Col Rajinder Singh, General Secretary.
Similar rallies will be organized tomorrow, while all members of JKESL will also hoist Tiranga on their houses in all district and tehsils.
