JKESL president Maj Gen Jamwal bereaved

JAMMU, Dec 29: In a sad turn of events, KS Jamwal (Bobby) son of Major General Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, former MLC and president, Jammu and Kashmir Ex-Services League (JKESL), expired at AIIMS, New Delhi after prolonged ailment. He was 62.
He was a dynamic tea planter in Jokai India at Dibrugarh (Assam) and was attacked, robbed and forced to quit by ULFA in 1994. He became General Manager of Modi Luft with his tea planter friend Ashutosh Sharma son of the former President Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma.
When Modis quit Modi Luft Ashutosh, Bobby started Quest Venture International along with Vinod Gupta (Kharagpur IIT alumni and close friend of Clinton) and Billoo Goswami, Ex CS and Advisor J&K State and Secretary, Government of India Civil Supplies. He is survived by his father, wife and two sons.
A great Golfer of the Tea Gardens, he will be remembered as a clean and warm hearted person by his friends and a devoted family man, all out to help anyone at any cost. He is missed by his friends and all those who knew him for his multifarious activities including his service to the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
