JAMMU, July 17: Continuing its tirade against the State Government for its failure to formulate an effective policy on employment and arrest the growing frustration among the youth of the State, the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) Youth Wing launched a signature campaign today.
The campaign was launched on the directives of the chairman of the Party Anil Gupta in Main Chowk Kachi Chawni. Hundreds of youth participated in the campaign and endorsed the demand of the Party regarding grant of Rs 2000 as unemployment Allowance to a youth per month.
The campaign was launched by Anil Gupta and district president of the Youth Wing Munish Khajuria and other senior leaders were also present.
In his address Mr Gupta alleged that the youth of Jammu are being discriminated and denied their just rights. The anger and frustration due to unemployment is growing among them with every passing day.
He warned that this resentment will take ugly turn in case the demands of the youth are not settled.
