Chennai, July 17: Captain of the Lanka bound Team India M S Dhoni today said sentiments have no place in the players’ minds about the upcoming limited overs match home series against Pakistan.
‘As professional cricketers we should not let sentiments come.The series is announced and we have to get ready for that’, Dhoni said, answering a question at a press conference on the eve of the team’s departure to the island nation for the five one day and one T20 m,atches beginning from july 22.
‘Well as professional cricketers we are taught not to really get into the emotional side. So we have to get ready for the series’, he said.
Dhoni said the series was another opportunity for the team-as professional cricketers- to get ready for that series also.
‘We will be ready for it. We are not the persons who decide, but now that the series has been announced, we have to be prepared for it’, Dhoni reasoned. (UNI)
