JKDF Sewa Dal organizes free eye check up camp

JAMMU, Nov 10: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) Sewa Dal today organised a free eye check up camp at Government Higher Secondary School, Bakshi Nagar.
The camp was inaugurated by JKDF State president Anil Gupta in presence of Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, MLA.
Around 1500 spectacles and 6 wheel chairs were distributed among the beneficiaries. Eye testing was also carried out by qualified eye specialists.
While speaking, Prof Gupta hoped that JKDF will leave no stone unturned to reach out and help the people who are the sufferers of natural calamities, disasters, communal frenzies and life consuming diseases.
Anil Gupta said that the objective of Sewa Dal is to extend helping hand to needy, destitute, orphans, physically handicapped, blinds, old aged, victims of natural calamities/unforeseen incidents and other persons who are suffering from serious ailments. JKDF Sewa Dal will organize such events in future also, he added.
Among others present were Rohit Sharma, president, JKDF Sewa Dal, Shalleen Gulati, vice president, Ravi Mehra, general secretary, Lucky Puri, Arun Khanna, Ashok Gandhi, Deepak Sharma, Rakka, Chamel Singh, Sunny, etc.
