JAMMU, Feb 9: A public rally was held by JKDF at Raipur Domana to take stock of the problems being faced by people of this rural belt as well as togather the mass support and ensure participation of people of this belt in the forthcoming rally on February 19, at Parade ground Jammu on eve of “Duggar Shaurya Diwas’ the Foundation Day of JKDF.
Besides senior JKDF leaders and Mahila Wing activists large number of people attended the rally addressed by JKDF State president Anil Gupta.
On the occasion many prominent persons of the area joined JKDF to serve the masses. They were welcomed into party fold by JKDF State president, Anil Gupta.
Pointing towards growing corruption during regime of NC-Congress Coalition Government, Anil Gupta Said, “ the increasing corruption has been allowed to eat vital organs of this State by this Government. Hardly any department is unaffected by this virus. The graph of corruption and nepotism is at its peak during the past five years of this regime. The indulgence of Ministers of Coalition in one after another scandals, communal violence and unethical behaviour has become the routine and is touching news headlines every day, he added.
He said things are happening under the nose of the NC-Congress coalition which have grabbed power on the plea of providing the corruption free and transparent regime.
He said the BJP, the lone Opposition party from Jammu had become irrelevant due to its internal feuds and self interests of few of its members who are otherwise serving as agents of NC and Congress Party. The dubious policies of this saffron clad is clearly understood by the masses and now the time has come to teach them a lesson. He appealed the people to throw them out in the forthcoming elections and vote as per the concise.
The prominent JKDF activists present on the occasion included Veenu Khanna, State president, JKDF (Mahila Wing), Zarina Begum, State Vice President, Mahila Wing, Sonika Ishtiyaq State secretary, Mahila Wing, Ashok Gandhi, Rohit Sharma President JKDF Sewa Dal Shalleen Gulati Vice President, Sewa Dal and Ravi Mehra general secretary, Sewa Dal, Ashwani Pandotra, Mintoo Sarpanch, Ashok Panch and others.
