KISHTWAR, Mar 7: A financial literacy-cum-awareness camp was today organized at one of the most far flung backward area of Distt Kishtwar, Singpora, Inderwal, by Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd Business unit Chatroo in collaboration with NABARD.
The program was presided over by Cluster Head of J&K Bank, Distt Kishtwar, Manzoor Ahmed and attended by large number of people, including the elected member of Panchayats and NGOs.
The main aim of organizing this camp in this far flung area was to give awareness regarding various banking schemes among the general masses in the unbanked areas. The camp was specially organized to introduce the newly launched scheme of Joint Liability Group (JLG) by JK Bank in coordination with NABARD. People were urged to take full benefit of all the banking schemes and change their living standard in the villages.
Manoj Kumar Sharma, Branch Head of JKB Chatroo, assured the public that Bank was always ready to serve the masses for their betterment and upliftment.
