SRINAGAR, Aug 5: Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) conducted awareness camps at various places in the Valley.
JKB Srinagar conducted such camps at Parimpora and Jenab Sahib Soura, which were attended by a large number rural youth.
Director RSETI Srinagar informed the participants about the purpose and working of RSETI.
JKB FLCC Kupwara in collaboration with Lead Bank Office and Business Unit Kulangam organised a financial awareness camp at Government Boys High School Chowgul, Handwara.
Facilitator FLCC Kupwara apprised the participants about opening of savings accounts with the banks and educated them about the advantages of savings with the banks for better and safe future.
Lead District Manager apprised the audience about various services and products of the bank.
JKB FLCC Baramulla conducted a financial literacy session for trainees undergoing training in various fields and trainers at Industrial Training Institute, Baramulla.
Facilitator FLCC Baramulla stressed upon the audience to inculcate in themselves the habit of savings by investing in various savings plans of banks like savings bank, recurring plus, mehandi deposit and other fixed deposit plans.
Director RSETI, Senior Manager JKB, T P Baramulla and LDM Baramulla also spoke on the occasion.
In collaboration with JKB, Business Unit Aloosa, FLCC Bandipora conducted awareness camp at Higher Secondary Aloosa. The camp was also attended by experts from SKAUST, principal, Higher Secondary, Director RSETI Bandipora and representative from Zonal Office Apple Team.
