JAMMU, Dec 6: The Rehbar -e-Zirat organized one day protest against delay in publication of 2nd phase list for regularization which was due for publication in April 2015 as per Cabinet order.
The protest was held at Press Club here under the banner of Jammu & Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) led by Dr Surinder Radotra State president of the Association. Dejected and frustrated over the apathetic and discriminatory attitude of the State Government the protesters warned agitation.
Dr Surinder Radotra while addressing the media said that this was the duty of the government to publish the list of regularization in April 2015 but the Government failed miserably. “We waited patiently for last 8 months for the list publication but there was no result. As we all know that the Agriculture Technocrats (Rehbar-e-Zirats) of both the regions Jammu as well as Kashmir are hand to mouth and are struggling in upbringing their families.
He said “as we hoped that the representatives we have elected to run the government will resolve our long pending process of regularization. We are not understating why the list has been delayed as we know that the first list was published after the delay of 11 months’’. “This means that we have to come on roads once again for the regularization lists of 2nd and 3rd phase.This is the clear failure of the State Government as the policy is crystal clear that the candidates will be regularized after completion of seven years of satisfactory services in three phase i.e. 1st.Phase on April 2014, 2nd.Phase in April 2015, and 3rd.Phase in April 2016, then why the government has adopted delaying tactics’’, he added .
Dr.Radotra warned that in case of further delay in regularization the Association will be forced to launch another phase of agitation.
