JAMMU, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) demanded regularization of Rehber-e-Ziraat (ReZ) in one go and termed it the suitable way to resolve the long pending demand of agricultural technocrats.
A meeting of JKATA was held under the chairmanship of its president Dr Surinder Radotra, who while speaking criticized the nepotism being endorsed by Government by back-stepping from the commitment made with ReZ regarding their regularization.
Government is not framing any concrete policy for the regularization of serving agriculture technocrats in Agriculture Production Department, he added.
Besides having professional degree holders (ReZ) are treated step motherly for their regularization for the past nine years, he said, adding that their future is moving towards darkness as Government is not paying any heed toward them and is treating them as bonded labourers in the department.
Dr Jai Kumar Vasishtha, provincial senior general secretary, Dr Vinod Sharma, provisional chairman JKATA said that ReZ are always united and will remain united despite the illusion created by Government.
