JAMMU, Aug 4: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Raqeeq Ahmed Khan has demanded enquiry into the casual approach of the hospital administration due to which a pregnant woman died in absence of ambulance in Poonch on Monday.
“The woman was not provided an ambulance by the Poonch hospital authorities and finally the woman died due to severe pain after delivering a baby girl,” said Raqeeq expressing his condolence with the family members.
The youth leader was concerned about the non-serious approach of the hospital authorities due to which a poor woman died and her daughters became orphan.
“The District administration should take over all the expenses of the daughters of the victim woman and give compensation of Rs 20 lakhs to her family members,” demanded Khan.
The JKAP youth leader demanded that the action should be taken against the erring doctors and administration officials’ poor response to the emergency situation. He sought time bound probe into the incident as well.
