JKAACL’s Drama Festival: Rangshala presents ‘Haadsa; Haqeeqat!’

JAMMU, Dec 11: In the ongoing Annual Drama Festival, organized by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Rangshalla Theatre Group today staged Vikram Sharma’s play “Haadsa ! Haqeeqat” here at Abhinav Theatre.
Directed by Umesh Singh, the play “Hadsa ! Haqeeqat” revolves around man -woman conflicts in searching of their real identity while on the other side the play also depicts the illegal relation of so called civilized persons when conflict of the characters reach on extreme.
Rahual Sinha, the main character of the play seems very upset and agitated man because of his busted identity and lost his temper totally when he come to know his real identity as he is illegal son of Shekhar Gupta but not of Dharm Pal Sinha, who happened to his father .
Divya Sinha who formerly used to be Rahul’s beloved has now becomes his wife. Rahul gets shocked when he comes to know about his real father and then splits up in two personalities, which is present one and other one of Shekhar Gupta.
On seeing his multi dimensional identity of Rahul, Divya tries to bring him back from this trauma and tells him about his pregnancy, but this information does not put any impact to impress Rahul that he is becoming father. Divya gets mystified as every member of the family dies an unusual death while Rahul also commits suicide. In the end Malti shows as a great business icon by carrying on the legacy of Malti Sinha as Maya Kapoor.
The prominent artists who played and portrayed the various characters in drama included Sapna Soni as Malti Sinha, Umesh Singh as Dharm Pal Sinha, Sunil Sharma as Rahul Sinha, Rabia Hayat Ansari as Divya Sinha and Aainaa Mahajan as Chirag Sinha.
Choreography of the play was done by JR Sharma (Jacson) while music and set was designed by Nikhil Singh and Shiv Dev Singh, respectively. The costumes were designed by Sunita K Thakur and make up by Sonia Dameer.
The play was assisted by Gautam Singh.
