JKAACL organises Kashmiri Mushaira

JAMMU, Jan 20: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL) organised a Kashmiri Mushaira and short story session here at KL Saigal Hall, Jammu, on Friday.
Welcoming the poets and Shayars, Bharat Singh, Secretary, JKAACL, stated that poets are the face of the society as they represent the inner thoughts of the social fabric through their ink.
AK Naaz, a prominent Kashmiri writer, who presided over the function, appreciated the efforts of JKAACL for organising such events in which writers from both the regions of J&K participate.
“Such activities certainly help to enhance the literary intellect of the poets and the writers,” he said.
The writers who presented short stories included Avtar Hugami, Vijay Sagar, Vijay Wali, Rinko Koul, and ML Pandita while the prominent poets presented their literary items included Bashir Ul Haq, Majeed Masroor, Maqbool Ferozi, Ashok Gowhar, Engineer Vinod, Santosh Nadan, Fozia Mughal and others.
