JAMMU, Oct 13: J&K Tourism was awarded with “Best Award for Promotion of Golf Tourism” in 5th International Tourism Conclave and Tourism Award ceremony which was held here at Dehradun by ICM Group.
The award received by Deepika K Sharma, Director Tourism, Jammu on behalf of J&K Tourism was presented by the chief guest Dr Harak Singh Rawat, Minister for Forests, Wildlife, Environment, Solid Waste Disposal, Labour, Employment, Training, Education, Government of Uttarakhand, who inaugurated the Second Edition of India’s Leading Travel & Tourism Exhibition, India Travel Mart (ITM) Dehradun and VIth Edition of International Tourism Conclave and Travel Awards (ITCTA) in presence of all the exhibitors, awardees, buyers and member’s of leading travel associations—TAAI, ADTOI, IATO, TTAUP at Hotel Regenta LP Vilas, Chakarata Road, Nanda Ki Chowki, Dehradun.

Ajay Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, ICM Group, Organizer of the event briefed the travel trade fraternity that the basic purpose of holding this event was to boost tourism awareness worldwide for increasing the inflow of domestic and outbound tourists in the coming months. He further stated that the main aim of organizing such event is to promote tourism potential in India and spread awareness among the people.
