AHMEDABAD, Sept 13: J&K Tourism delegation held an interactive meet with travel agents /leading tour operators on the concluding day of TTF and urged upon them to put all efforts to boost the tourist influx to the J&K.
Official delegation informed the travel fraternity of Ahmedabad that J&K is the complete destination having all tourism products be it leisure, pilgrimage, adventure, heritage, golfing, border tourism, MICE and Wellness tourism. They were also informed that little damages what so ever caused by last year floods have been restored and every effort was put in to dispel the myths and negative perception disseminated post flood and everything is back to normal & ready to cater the tourists in best way.
Ajay Modi, leading tour operator from Ahmedabad applauded the role of J&K Tourism under the leadership of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and guidance of Secretary Tourism Farooq Ahmed Shah for promoting the J&K at every platform to instill the confidence among the tourists.
The travel trade fraternity of Ahmedabad assured to promote the tourism in J&K. Large number of travel agents and travelers visited the J&K stall and showed their keen interest for different tourist destinations of J&K.
S.K.Attri Dy. Dir Publicity, Ashwani Gupta DGM (Marketing) J&KTDC , Veena Sharma I/C Tourist Officer, Ankush Soni and representatives of various travel Trade / Hotel/Travel agents associations of J&K were present in the meet. J&K Tourism also got TTF award on the concluding day.
