JAMMU, Jan 7: J&K students brought laurels to the State as they bagged six positions in Inter -State Junior Red Cross Camp under National Youth Exchange Programme at Amritsar.
The J&K contingent, comprising 15 students, bagged positions in different events, including debates and symposium. The students were trained by Yash Paul Yash.
The main objective of this camp was to provide an opportunity to inculcate the spirit of selfless service and the objectives of Red Cross amongst the students.
District Red Cross Society Jammu had deputed the contingent of members, 6 male and 6 female, from S D K V School Jullaka Mohalla Jammu and Oriental Academy Afghana Mohalla, after different rounds of selection.
One male Counselor, Raj Kumar Gupta from Government Girls Hr Sec School, R S Pura and 2 female Counselors Pooja Dave and Bhawani Sharma from S D K V School, Jullaka Mohalla, Jammu, accompanied the students.
