JAMMU, June 24: J&K Saryara Sadar Sabha (JKSSS) in a meeting here, today held under the presidentship of Ram Paul, former Minister and ex. Member Legislative Council has condemned the act of the few self styled leaders of the Biradari who announced Inderjit Shavotra a caretaker president of the Sabha at a press conference here yesterday.
The meeting, was attended by all units of the J&K Saryara Sadar Sabha.
Speaking on the occasion the presidents of various units of the Sabha said that J&K Saryara Sadar Sabha is a registered body and has its own bylaws and Constitution. They said that no one has right to dissolve it without the consent of the members of the registered Sabha.
Moreover, a meeting of the Sabha was already scheduled to be held today in which issues regarding unity, integrity, prosperity, progress and overall development of the community was to be discussed besides issues pertaining to present chaos within the community were to be discussed.
The presidents of the various units of the Sabha said that before we could organise this meeting to deliberate upon these issues these disgruntled elements of the Biradari in an unconstitutional way addressed a hurriedly called press conference and nominated caretaker president which is totally illegal.
Those who were present on the occasion include Dr.Ramesh Chander (Birpuri) vice president J&K Saryara Sadar Sabha (SSS), Krishan Lal vice president, J&K SSS, Baldev Raj, general secretary, J&KSSS, Dina Nath Ex Election Commissioner and Member Constitution Drafting Committee JKSSS, B.D Dalotra member Working Committee, JKSSS, Bahadur Lal president, Bahu Fort Unit, Sat Paul president, City Sabha, Mangat Ram, president Rural Sabha, Charan Dass president, Reasi Unit, Darshan Lal president Billawar unit, Baldev Raj President, Basholi Unit, Tilak Raj member Working Committee, Romesh Lal Udhampur.
Besides, these prominent persons & other members of the J&K Saryara Biradari were also present in the meeting in which threadbare discussion was held on various issues of the Biradari.
