JAMMU, May 18: All J&K Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sabha held a meeting in the premises of Shri Sad Guru Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara, Bishnah.
The meeting was attended by all the office bearers of central executive body, district presidents of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Kishtwar, Rajouri and Ramban and various block presidents.
State President of Himachal Pradesh Kabir-Panthi Sabha, Jagdish Raj alongwith other members from Himachal Pradesh also attended the meeting.
Jagdish Raj also exchanged his views on the philosophy of Sant Kabir and its optimistic role in the present scenario of the society. He suggested that at least once a year Kabir-Panthi Sammelan should be organized at national level so that public at large gets the benefit of philosophy of the spiritual master.
After thorough discussion it was unanimously decided that this year Kabir Jayanti of Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sahib will be celebrated on June 13 (Friday) at Village Chak-Avtara, Bishnah.
It was also decided that a procession followed by jhankies will start from Bari-Brahmana which after passing through various areas will culminate at Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara, Bishnah.
President of the Sabha FC Bhagat requested all the Kabir Panthies and Bhagat community to participate in the function and have the blessings of Shri Sad Guru Kabir.
