J&K reports 152 COVID cases

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Sept 18: The Union Territory today reported 152 new COVID positive cases including 137 in Kashmir division and 15 in Jammu region.
Among 15 fresh cases in the Jammu region, eight were registered in Doda, three Jammu, two Kishtwar and one each in Samba and Rajouri districts. Five districts including Udhampur, Kathua, Poonch, Ramban and Reasi districts didn’t report any fresh cases today.
Eighteen persons recovered from the virus.
Jammu region now has 1,23,457 Corona cases. However, among them, only 238 are active positives as 1,21,050 have recovered from the virus and there have been 2169 casualties.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 137 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 67 from Srinagar, 23 from Baramulla, 10 from Budgam, 6 from Pulwama, 3 from Kupwara, 3 from Anantnag, 3 from Bandipora, 07 from Ganderbal and 15 from Kulgam.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 204,316 including 200,828 recoveries and 2,247 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,479 including 1,241 from Kashmir division.
With 135 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 321,878 which is 98.20 percent of the total cases.
Meanwhile, the UT of Ladakh today did not report any COVID positive cases.
The UT now has 109 active positive cases including 106 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
