J&K reports 15 new COVID cases

JAMMU, May 10: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 15 new COVID-19 positive cases, 9 from Jammu division and 6 from Kashmir valley.
As per the reports, maximum number of 5 COVID cases were reported from Jammu district, followed by 3 from Ganderbal, 2 cases from Udhampur and 1 case each from Rajouri, Poonch, Budgam, Pulwama and Anantnag districts.
A total of 2,667 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 135–61 in Jammu division and 74 in Kashmir region whereas 34 COVID patients recovered today, 21 from Jammu division and 13 from Kashmir.
The highest number of 35 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 21 in Baramulla, 12 in Ganderbal, 9 cases each in Anantnag and Udhampur, 8 each in Budgam, Shopian and Samba, 7 in Pulwama, 6 in Doda, 4 in Srinagar, 3 cases in Bandipora, 2 in Kulgam and 1 case each in Rajouri, Poonch and Ramban districts.
