J&K Police Telecommunication organizes annual debate on Human Rights

JAMMU, Jan 15: Annual debate on Human Rights awareness was today organized by J&K Police Telecommunication at APHQ Conference Hall, here.
The topic for the debate was “State Violations of Human Rights escalate violence rather than controls it”.
The aim was to sensitize the police personnel regarding human rights.
The participants who took part in the debate were from HG/CD and SDRF J&K, Security J&K, CID J&K, Traffic J&K, Railways J&K and J&K Telecommunication wings.
DPT J&K, Naseer Ahmad Zargar was the chief guest on the occasion. He is also the Chairman organizing committee and other members of the committee SSP Sanjay Kumar Bhagat, SO to IGP (Tech) J&K, SSP Telecom Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmad and SSP Telecom ACS Jammu RK Dhar, Co-opted member were present on the occasion.
SSP Telecom ACS Jammu RK Dhar in his welcome address highlighted the importance of human rights and the aim of organizing the debate.
A jury under the chairmanship of Director Prosecution PHQ SM Kapoor with members CO JKAP 8th Battalion Shiv Kumar, AIG (Welfare/Com) PHQ Manoj Kumar Pandith, Deputy, Director Prosecution PHQ Parshotam Lal and DySP (CIV) PHQ Junaid Wali adjudged the participants.
SSP Sanjay Kumar Bhagat, presented vote of thanks.
DPT J&K Naseer Ahmad Zargar along with other committee members presents the certificates and prizes to the participants.
Sayida Akhter of JKAP 4th Battalion was adjudged first in the debate, Inspector Raj Kumar Sharma of CID wing was adjudged second and Ct. Optr. Waseem Shamas of Telecom bagged the third position.
The winners were awarded with cash reward and certificates other participants were also given a certificate of participation.
