J&K people no longer trust false promises: Bukhari

SRINAGAR, Dec 2: Apni Party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today claimed that after the abrogation of special status to the erstwhile State of J&K, Apni Party raised the suppressed voices of the people while the traditional political parties remained mute spectators to the then prevailing situation.
He said the people of J&K no longer trust the emotional blackmailing and false promises that are being currently raised by these political parties to lure people for mere electoral gains.
Bukhari was speaking at the sidelines of a joining ceremony that took place in presence of Apni Party provincial president Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir; media advisor, Farooq Andrabi; Apni Party senior leader and former MLA Poonch, Shah Mohammad Tantray and Party leader, Advocate Mir Imaad.
The new entrants who joined Apni Party included former PDP block president Mandi-Poonch, Peerzada Bilal Makhdoomi along with Tariq Bhat, Iqbal Tantray, Ashfaq Tantray and Sheikh Dawud.
Welcoming new entrants into the party, Bukhari asked them to work diligently for the redressal of public grievances.
