REASI, Aug 28: All J&K Patwar Association has constituted its tehsil level units in Reasi district by electing the Tehsil office bearers for Katra, Reasi, Pouni, Bhomag and Thakrakote.
For Bhomag tehsil, Mohd Maqbool was elected as president, Karnail Singh as vice-president, Puran Chand as secretary, Sham Lal as cashier and Vaid Mitter as delegate.
For Thakrakote, Chander Dev Singh was elected as tehsil president, Shabir Goursi as vice-president, Mohinder Singh as secretary, Ikram Bhatti as cashier and Shabir Ahmed as delegate while for tehsil Pouni, Uttam Singh was elected as president, Sunil Kumar as vice-president, Ranjeet Singh as secretary, Sanjeev Kumar as cashier and Ali Mohd as delegate.
For Katra tehsil, Pyar Singh was elected as tehsil president, Sanjay Kumar as vice-president, Rashid Choudhary as secretary, Mushtaq Ahmed as cashier, Imtiaz Ahmed and Avat Singh as delegates while for Reasi tehsil, Rajeev Kumar was elected as president, Jameel Ahmed as vice-president, Yashpaul as secretary, Pardeep Singh as cashier, Altaf Wani, Jagdish Kumar and Vakil Singh as delegates.
The elections were held in conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, under the chairmanship of Association’s District president Arfan Shahid.
The election ion respect of tehsil Arnas was postponed due to some un-avoidable circumstances and the same will be held tomorrow along with tehsil Mahore.
