J&K logs 19 cases, Ladakh 7

JAMMU/SRINAGAR /LEH, Mar 12: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 19 COVID positive cases while the UT of Ladakh registered seven positives, all in Leh district.
Jammu division reported 10 cases and Kashmir valley nine.
Six cases were recorded in Jammu district, two in Kathua and one each in Kishtwar and Poonch districts while rest six districts in Jammu region didn’t report any fresh cases.
With 22 recoveries, number of active positive cases in Jammu division has come down to 107.
For third consecutive day today, Udhampur district has no active positive case.
In the Union Territory of Ladakh, Kargil district has again become Corona-free.
All seven COVID positive cases in Ladakh today were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 69 active positive cases, all in Leh district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported only nine fresh cases of COVID-19 .
Those who tested positive include 5 from Srinagar, 1 from Budgam, 1 from Pulwama, 01 from Bandipora and 1 from Kulgam.
With fresh cases the number of positive cases in Kashmir division has reached 287,251 including 284,683 recoveries and 2,423 deaths
The number of active cases, in Jammu and Kashmir are 252 including 145 from Kashmir division.
With 48 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 448,421 which is 98.89 percent of the total cases.
