J&K Judokas, who won two medals, with one gold and one bronze, besides three places in the recently concluded Senior National Judo Championship which was held at Haridwar recently. Judokas of Regional Coaching Centre (RCC) M A Stadium Jammu, Shweta Thakur won gold, Nippu Jamwal bagged bronze, while Danish Sharma, Ranjodh Singh and Sadaf Iqbal stood forth and sixth in the event. 36 teams from different States and Belt Forces participated in the Championship. The team was accompanied by coaches Vikas Dogra, Ritika Slathia and Suraj Bhan Singh as a technical referee.
