J&K ICAI organises seminar on income tax, MoU with CPA Australia & Ireland

JAMMU, Jan 10: Jammu and Kashmir branch of NIRC of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised a seminar on “Handling of Appeal of OCM cases, section 115BBE and 270A, E-Assessment, code of ethics and ICAI’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CPA Australia and Ireland.
As per the handout, Chartered Accountant (Adv) Kapil Goel and CA. Vivek Khurana were the main speakers of the seminar.
The first technical session was deliberated by CA Kapil Goel wherein he deliberated how to handle appeal of OCM cases, section 115BBE and 270 A and E-Assessment whereas second session was deliberated by CA. Vivek Khurana, he gave a detailed presentation on new professional code of ethics of ICAI and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of Institute of ICAI with CPA Australia and Ireland.
During the seminar, the main speakers addressed the various queries raised by the members during the respective sessions.
CA Shalay Razdan, Chairman of the Branch welcomed and introduced the Guest speakers while CA Vinay Jamwal (Treasurer) conducted the proceedings of the seminar and CA Lalit Kumar Gupta (Vice Chairman) presented the formal vote of thanks.
