J&K floods : U’khand extends financial aid of Rs 10 cr

DEHRADUN :  Uttarakhand provided financial aid of Rs 10 crore to Jammu and Kashmir government for flood hit victims.    On behalf of Chief Minister Harish Rawat, a cheque of Rs 10 crore was handed over by Uttarakhand Resident Commissioner Shanker Dutt Sharma to Jammu and Kashmir Principal Resident Commissioner Lokesh Jha at New Delhi today, official sources said here.
The state itself bore the brunt of natural calamity in June last year.
