JAMMU, July 27: The executive body of J&K Excise & Commercial Taxes Welfare Society today dissolved the present body and unanimously elected adhoc committee led by chairman Hakam Singh.
In an emergency meeting of the Society held under the chairmanship of secretary general, Kuldip Singh Arora, the 14 members of the executive body moved no confidence motion against sitting president Vijay Kumar, who they said failed to hold any meeting/AGM for the last four years. Neither he held any executive meeting which is mandatory once in a year.
The members unanimously resolved to dissolve the existing body forth with making way for fresh elections. For the time being adhoc committee along with previous members under Hakam Singh was framed.
