JAMMU, June 21: The employees of Jammu and Kashmir serving in the Union Territory of Ladakh in various Government departments have appealed to the Government of J&K to bring them back as promised before bifurcation of the erstwhile State of J&K into two Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh.
In a representation to the Excelsior, the employees said a number of them hailing from J&K were still serving in various Government departments in Ladakh.
“Before bifurcation of the erstwhile UT, we were asked for option and we had mentioned Jammu and Kashmir as we live there,;; the employees said, adding even after nearly eight months, no efforts have been made by the J&K UT Government to bring them back from Ladakh.
The employees hoped that those at the helm of affairs will fulfill their promise and bring them back to their home UT.
