JAMMU, May 27: J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, organized a seminar on issues in Forensic Audit with Special reference to banks, Overview of GST and special discussion on ICDS.
CA Tarun K Gupta was the guest speaker on ICDS, CA Charanjot Singh Nanda was guest speaker on the topic of Forensic Audit and Fraud Detection and CA Gaurav Garg was the guest speaker on the topic of GST.
The First Technical Session was presented by CA Tarun K Gupta who gave a detailed presentation on the ICDS. He also addressed the queries raised by the members on related issues.
During the second technical session, CA Charanjot Singh Nanda addressed the members giving detailed overview of Forensic Audit, Fraud Detection and opportunities for Chartered Accountants in Forensic Audit. He also answered various queries raised by the members on the subject.
In the third and final technical session, CA Gaurav Garg addressed the members and gave them the detailed information about the most talked about topic- GST covering some important aspects like Reverse Charge, Supply etc
CA Anish Abrol, Secretary of the Branch delivered the inaugural address, and introduced the guests.
CA Sudhir Kumar Arora, Chairman of the Branch, welcomed the members of the branch and the guest speakers.
CA Shalay Razdan, Executive Committee Member of the branch presented the Vote of thanks.
