JAMMU, June 2: J&K Bank today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Kakryal, Katra, under its Corporate Salary Package (CSP), enabling the university’s employees to avail a range of customised banking benefits and preferential financial services.
The agreement was signed at the office of the Vice Chancellor of SMVDU. Registrar Ajay Kumar Sharma and J&K Bank Zonal Head (Udhampur) Lalit Prakash signed the MoU on behalf of the University and the Bank respectively in the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Pragati Kumar, Finance Officer Kajal Jasrotia, Cluster Head Reasi Amit Bargotra, Chief Manager Ashish Gupta and Branch Head Katra Kapil Nanda.
Speaking on the occasion, Lalit Prakash said the agreement reflects the Bank’s commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and providing customised financial solutions to employees.
He expressed confidence that the benefits offered under the Corporate Salary Package would enhance the banking experience and financial well-being of the university staff.
Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Pragati Kumar appreciated the Bank’s customer-centric approach and said J&K Bank has been a trusted financial partner with a strong understanding of institutional requirements.
He expressed confidence that the benefits extended under the arrangement would be valued by the faculty and staff members.
Earlier, Chief Manager Ashish Gupta briefed the participants about the facilities and benefits availableunder the Bank’s Corporate Salary Package.
Under the agreement, all employees of SMVDU will be accorded the status of “Most Favoured Client” and will be eligible for specialised salary account variants, personal accidental insurance cover and a host of preferential banking services.
These include free cash withdrawal and deposit facilities, concessional locker charges, enhanced ATM and POS transaction limits, complimentary global debit cards, free digital banking services, concessional rates on loan products and credit card-related benefits.
The participants expressed confidence that the partnership would further strengthen ties between the two institutions while ensuring greater financial convenience and value-added banking services for the university employees.
