JAMMU, Apr 18: J&K Bank today opened one more Business Unit (B.U) at Ghou Manhasan in Jammu district.
The bank’s Vice-President and Zonal Head Jammu (Central) Arvind Gupta inaugurated the B.U in presence of Cluster Head Asutosh Sareen at a simple but impressive function.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said that the bank was committed to provide hassle free, easy and world class banking services to the people of state irrespective of their location and status.
He urged the people present at the function to avail multiple facilities offered by the bank and assured them of complete financial support from the bank anytime and everytime.
Head B.U Mahesh shivgotra thanked all the distinguished guests present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, bank’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Poonch concluded its 6-day off the campus Entrepreneurship Development Programme, wherein 32 unemployed candidates from various villages of Mendhar tehsil were imparted training. The valediction function was held at Mendhar.
Speaking to the trainees, Director RSETI Ayub Ahmad Khuroo assured all the participants of providing total support for establishment of their income generating units.
Also present on the occasion, Animal Husbandry Officer, Mendhar Dr. Ashiq Lone explained various beneficial schemes of his department and assured the participants to accommodate them in various sponsored schemes for establishment of their units.
Facilitator FLCC Poonch Anmol Singh discussed the benefits of adopting self-employment as a means for livelihood in the present economic scenario and educated the audience about different Deposits & Advances schemes of of banks.
Certificates-of-Participation were also distributed among the trainees on the occasion.
