J&K Bank officers given warm send off on retirement

SRINAGAR, July 31: Jammu and Kashmir Bank accorded a warm send off to Mohammad Yousuf Khosa, vice president and Devinder Singh Sambyal. Who retired after attaining age of superannuation today.
The Bank’s Executive President Parvez Ahmad was the chief guest on the occasion.
Hailing the contribution of both, Khosa and Sambyal, who have served the institution in different capacities, Executive President of the J&K Bank said, “It is because of life-long service and commitment of people like Mohammad Yousuf Khosa and Devinder Singh Sambyal that this institution has achieved success and is excelling ahead with confidence”.
He further added that organizational culture which has been built by employees over a period of time through dedication, devotion, high level of commitment and emotional attachment needs to be preserved, promoted and passed on the new generation.
He also stressed upon the need for up-gradation of knowledge levels ands skill-sets of employees enabling them to meet the future challenges ahead.
The farewell was accorded to them during a simple but impressive function at Bank’s Corporate Headquarters and Zonal Office Jammu (C). O P Sharma, President Zonal Head Jammu (C), Nishi Baru, vice president (S&C) Jammu, Arvind Gupta, vice president Jammu (C) and other officers of Zonal Office Jammu were also present on the occasion.
While saying Good Bye Mr Sambyal thanked all the staff members present on the occasion and he also conveyed his thanks to all those who stood by him during his long travelling of thirty five years in the bank and made him to rise to the present status in the bank. He said during this long span of life which he has given in the bank, he has learnt a lot from his senior and ever junior colleagues which has become an inseparable asset with him and all this shall always remain with him throughout  his life.
