J&K Bank conducts financial literacy camp

JAMMU, Feb 19: J&K Bank today conducted a financial literacy camp at Bishnah to aware the people regarding the various banking services and digital products.
The camp was organized by the bank’s Business Unit, Bishnah in coordination with the Business Acquisition and Digital Strategy team, and Marketing Department of Zonal Office Jammu.
On the occasion, the officials from the Business Acquisition and Marketing Department informed the people about the benefits of social security schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
They educated the gathering regarding the importance of seeding Aadhaar and mobile numbers with their respective saving bank accounts. The team also spread awareness about various loan schemes offered by the bank such as KCC, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, vehicle loan and Education loan.
The officials from the Digital Strategy and Marketing department educated the gathering about the benefits of digital banking and cashless economy. The team also spread awareness regarding prevention of various frauds related to Digital Banking for conducting secure online transactions.
Pamphlets displaying interest rates on various loan schemes, and showcasing the digital products of the bank were also distributed among the gathering.
Business Unit Head Bishnah, Sham Dass Sharma, concluded the camp by presenting a vote of thanks.
