JAMMU, Dec 16: J&K Bank has conducted a Financial Literacy Camp at Chakroi in R.S Pura to educate the people of the area regarding various banking services and digital products offered by the bank.
The camp was organized by the bank’s Business Unit Chakroi in coordination with the Business Acquisition and Digital Strategy Team and Marketing Department of Zonal Office Jammu (Central-I).
On the occasion, the officials from the Business Acquisition and Marketing Department informed the people about the benefits of social security schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) besides delineating the claim processes. They educated the customers regarding the importance of seeding Aadhaar and mobile numbers with their respective saving bank accounts.
The team also spread awareness about various loan products offered by the bank such as Kisan Credit Card, tractor loan, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna, car loan, education loan etc having competitive interest rates and facilities like easy monthly installments.
The officials from the Digital Strategy and Marketing Department educated the gathering about the benefits of digital banking and cashless economy.
Pamphlets displaying interest rates on various loan schemes, and showcasing the digital products of the bank were also distributed among the gathering.
