SRINAGAR, Aug 12: J&K Bank commissioned an ATM at village Marta Nagrota, Tehsil Basholi in District Kathua. The on-site ATM was inaugurated jointly by Chairman District Development Council (Kathua) Col.(Retd) Mahan Singh and Bank’s Zonal Head Kathua Sanjeev Kumar in presence of Cluster Head Kathua Vinay Gupta at a simple but impressive function attended by elected public representatives, prominent businessmen, farmers, students, senior citizens besides local womenfolk.
While complementing the bank management for the initiative, Chairman DDC Kathua also requested the Bank to open new touch points of the Bank at the unbanked locations in the District. Speaking on the occasion he called upon the youth to come forward and make up their mark by making use of the various credit schemes of the bank not only to become self-reliant but also help others to earn their livelihood.
Earlier, Zonal Head Kathua, said that the bank endeavors to provide the general public with convenience of having 24X7 access to their account and money. The participants highly appreciated the efforts of the bank aimed at the economic transformation of the people.
