Srinagar, Feb 28:As a recognition for his exemplary leadership in banking domain, J&K Bank Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) R K Chhibber was felicitated with ‘Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) Leadership Award’ at a gala event during the 4th Elets BFSI Leadership Summit in Mumbai.
The bank’s President HRDD Mohammad Maqbool Lone received the award on behalf of J&K Bank CMD at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on 27th February.
Commenting on the felicitation, CMD R K Chhibber described the award as anappreciation for the entire J&K Bank family that works relentlessly towards making the bank as the most-loved and best-serving financial institution.
“The Award will reinvigorate our energies further and inspire us to work for the institutional excellence while delivering the best-in-class products and state-of-the-art services to our clients across our operational geography within J&K and beyond”, he added.
The summit was organized by EletsTechnomedia, India’s largest B2B media platform in association with the Banking & Finance Post, Asia and the Middle East’s premier bimonthly magazine on banking and finance sector. The main highlight of the summit was that a good confluence of top-leaders from across the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector delved into the rising significance of technology and deliberated upon the prominence of digital disruption within the industry.
