J&K Bank bids adieu to its senior president

JAMMU, Dec 31: J&K Bank today gave a warm send off to one of its most senior officers, Shafat Ahmad Banday, who retired as the Bank’s senior president.
Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad along with Executive presidents, Parvez Ahmad and Abdul Hamid Banday, presidents, vice-presidents and other senior officers of the Bank attended the farewell.
Rising among the ranks to one of the top posts in the Bank, Banday had a wide range of experience in banking operations like fund management, risk management, information technology and business strategy. Currently presiding over the bank’s Strategy and Business Development, he served the Bank for last 33 years in different capacities.
Extending gratitude to his colleagues and friends in the Bank, the retiring officer said, “I feel overwhelmed by the love and respect I have got from my colleagues throughout my career here. I thank all of you for your kindness, support, and a wonderful 33 years.”
